I wanted to do something moody that was different from the films ambient score, but still original for a scene that takes place in an automobile. After a few ideas, I decided to do something simple that had a Silent Hill meets Twin Peaks vibe to it. Of course, when this is heard in the film, it's briefly and was meant to be sort of a way to allow the viewer to get a feel for the strangeness of David's world.
