So funny story... this is the scene in which David writes himself a note warning him not to open the envelope in case his plan fails. He then calms himself, walks outside to the balcony and makes his choice. He does this from an apartment he believes belonged to a woman named Imogen. Because the original script got too big for its britches, this was the scene that ended up in the final act of the film. Originally, this was supposed to be a scene featuring David's brother Jeff and was meant to be the catalyst to Davids journey.
